Sherbet

Learn: We learnt how to make sherbet we are investigating and exploring chemical reactions

Create: We created sherbet to share with ourselves and our whanau/ family

Share: We have written the instructions on how to make sherbet here.  

In a bowl mix the ingredients 

Icing Sugar 1 teaspoon

Baking soda ¼ teaspoon

Raro or some other  flavor ½ teaspoon 

Put in bag and mix 

When you take it what do you observe: Sour, sweet,  fizz,  foam, chemical reaction, bubbly.

What is happening?  The baking soda is a base and the citric acid is an acid. The icing sugar and (Raro)  flavor and there or taste. As a solid the acid and the base do not react but in the presence of moisture (saliva) the citric acid and the baking soda react to give off carbon dioxide gas - this feels like a popping or fizzing sensation! Citric Acid ½ teaspoon

 Hi Bloggers today it was snowing and all of us were happy after a long time it has finally snowed and I tasted snow it taste like frozen coke and I smelled it and it smelt cold and it felt cold and there were lots of snow on my head and it was hard to see in there and it was slippery.

We have been learning about Michel Mulupula who is a Samoan Comic Artist. I  learned tricks from him on how ton draw flash and turned out pretty good and it was hard to draw because it had a lot of details but it turned out good. If i was a super hero I would be the flash so I could go really fast everywhere. If you could be a super hero what would you like your powers to be?

The dragon is terrorizing the school and many people are in danger so flash and iron fist is trying to kill the dragon flash takes all the people out of the school to a safe spot and iron fist beat the dragon and the super heroes won.

The Amazing spider man 2 and iron man

 This is my writing because in writing we had to do a narrative about any story or what we did in the weekend I did about spider man and iron man fighting Thanos and spider man and iron man won.

Barrier Game

 Today we did Cyber smart we had to work with a buddy to tell them the instructions where to put the images on a grid and the images were hiding inside a rounded rectangle player B told me to put the images in the right place and we need to match the same if the tree is on top they tell me to put it on top and when we finish one slide we do the other slide and check if we have matched it.

I liked it because we can play with a buddy and we can take turns.

Pirate Hunt

On Monday It was a pirate day and there were pirate strikers around the school

we had teams and I was with Sonny Cameron Lukas and after lunch our teacher was dressed as  

pirate and every one thought the sword was real but it was plastic.

This post is about my learning from Religious Education about a man called Nelson Mandela. he was a man that fought for the freedom of his people in South Africa.

I learnt that the Messiah was also someone that the people of Israel looked forward to. They hoped that he would free them from their trouble from the Roman government.
